Help with high heels!!!!!!!!?
I am definately a "flats" girl. I love funky flats: Steve Madden, Guess, Naughty Monkey. I have never been one to wear heels, but I want to start. I seem to do okay with wedges best, but would like to "graduate" to more of a pump or even a stiletto. Are there ANY shoe brands out there that have comfy and sexy high heels? Do we necessarily have to sacrifice one for the other??? I just bought a pair of sandals with a 3 1/2 inch heel - not a wedge. I tried them on in the store, and even walked in them while I finished shopping. My feet were swollen already, and it was later in the day. Anyway, I went to put them on today and right away they were a bit uncomfortable. My problem seems to be in the ball of my foot by my toes. Plus, I have a high arch which can make looking even more difficult. Any tips for walking in them? Why is it always the ball of my foot that hurts? Any brands you can suggest that are comfortable to wear? Any tips at all????? High heels are sexy - I want to wear them!:)
well if u find heels sexy then i think u must try wearing smaller heels and first get comfy with them .then you could try wearing high heels basically you ware more off flats and this change from flats to heels did not suit your feet and the ball of your foot started 2 hurt .well i would suggest you one thing that donot try heels when you are going out for shopping or anyplace were there could be alot of walking .heels are only meant 2 be worn on partys and places were it could make uor legs look more sexy and walking with heel makes you walk more ellegantly with a catwalk

Cole Haan is very comfortable. Yes it is designer, and somewhat expensive ($think in the high double digits to the mid three digits$), but the styles that this brand offers comes in many varities. Many sizes, materials, colors, heights, widths and all are offered in the shoes, and all of the shoes are extremely comfortable, so as you get more and more used to heels and higher elevated, Cole Haan is a fantastic trainer heel brand. You can find this brand carried at select Cole Haan stores and Nordstroms. Not Nordstroms Rack, though.

I love chineese laundry brand because they normally make their pumps with a stretchy leather which is ALOT more comfortable that a plastic type of fabric. also you can get doctor scholls inserts for heels. its a gell that goes right where the ball of your foot is. I have really high arches and iv done lots of pageants and those gell inserts were a life saver! lol I LOVE heels! Good choice on deciding to wear them! good luck.

If you google confortable high heels you will find many brands that have invented easier to wear high heels or inserts for them.

I really love Tony Bianco Heals. they are usually pretty comfy and easy to wear in. great range of heights and styles as well. also though try shoo biz, candy or steve madden have some pretty funky ones. with all heals though it takes a while to wear them in. before i have a big day or night in them i like to wear them around the house with thin socks on. this will help you get comfy in them, practise walking in them and check if you get blisters or not. for starters id suggest always getting heals with a strap or enclosed back. this way you cant slip out of them and you can perfect your walk before getting onto the harder heals. dont get them to tight cause that's pain full, but loose heals will only stretch more, SO perfect fit is essential. wearing heals required confidence, so if you dont feel safe walking in them, your likely to stumble and look geeky. walk around the house in them as much as possible

It is the ball of your foot that hurts because that is where all your weight is put.
This won't work for strappy-sandle type heels, but if you are wearing a closed or boot type shoe, try getting cushion or gel inserts. That will alleviate some of the stress on the ball of your foot until you get more used to the feeling of walking on your toes.

I wear heels every day for 10+ hours.
I always wear heels! I am Spanish lol If you never worn heels before you should start with lower heels so you dont get leg cramps. Naturalizer is a good brand but they are not attractive. Just try lower heels until you get used to then you can graduate to the stilettos.
